I do believe scandella is getting a bad rep in this chat. He is a good solid dman and since risto has played with u think he has improved. I do think you know wat you are getting from him every night and can’t be said for Nurse. Nurse is young and I do believe in time he will improve and be better but in short term I would take scandella.

That being said my point is that Nurse would be on the third pairing unless u trade McCabe or scandella. Which doesn’t make sense to either side. Scandella will be ufa and and nurse has more potential and I think McCabe and nurse are very comparable players and don’t see big addition with that trade. Plus you will have to add to both trades to get nurse. As I can see the benefit to having him on third pairing wat you will have to give up will be our future in puit and guhle who look like wat the modern nhl dman are turning into.

Okay sure but Nurse. Makes no sense. LHD is the last thing the Sabres need. Check out sabres dman prospects almost all LHD. And nurse is not big enough improvement to make it worth it.

My guess is if the rumor is correct that they are dumping Nurse because of locker room problem. Then a trade along the lines of Alzner, d prospect ( cale fleury), and second round pick. This only takes place if their is a locker room problem.

If Risto is worth more than Nurse, it isn't by much. Ymmv.
