They played hard and with effort through the game. Oilers tried, but they didn't look as ready to play. I give the Devils credit, but the Oilers did not look good either. It wasn't like 2 great teams battling it out.
1st game of the season against Mcdavid/Drai. I'll take a 5-2 win.

I could listen to that lady next to Salvador all day and night.

Great game, not much to complain about, maybe Kinkaid making some sloppy plays with the puck but overall everyone was solid. Great to see them firmly win a game without Hall needing to contribute much. Second line looked good even without Bratt. If Zacha, Wood, and Bratt all make steps forward (seems possible with all three) this team's secondary scoring won't be bad.

I went to possibly the last Devil Game at the Colosium. Deb was walking around and I was offended how little attention she actually paid to the game. I lost a little of respect for her.
