Ward needs glasses or a glove without a hole or to close his legs like a Catholic girl or a combination of everything. - I Am The Breadman
Tipped or not, how many right thru his legs? |

14 Goals in 3 games around an .850 save percentage.....just brutal. May as well call Scott Foster back up, can’t be much worse. - TheTrob
Mind boggling that Q plays a 35yr old goalie back to back nights |

Ward is garbage, 14 goals aloud in 3 games. Absolute stinker to lose the game on the first shot in OT.
Didn’t even give the team a chance.
Special teams are just abismal. Continuation of the last several years.

Forsberg should of started tonight. Q with a poor coaching decision - BetweenTheDots
Hope that was red font?
Doesn't really matter who started tonight for either team. Two teams with elite offenses |

No, with the players this team has, there is no reason they should suck on the PP. End of story. - powerenforcer
Hawks have sucked on the PP for years now...I'm done expecting better.
Being the least penalized team in the league is their only hope.
This Hawks club may give up more shorties than PP goals scored. |

Rutta with another abysmal outing. Gustafsson actually does well to play fast and move the puck, he just needs to stop being cute with the extra move in the offensive zone . I'd bring in Davidson for rutta immediately
On another note, Hayden REALLY needs to work on his balance. His skating is so shaky and out of control and right now he doesn't belong on an NHL roster. Not saying martinsen is a better option but Hayden is not showing hes earned a full time NHL spot |

Hilarious finish. Ward is not great physically anymore. Mentally he doesn't let anything affect him. His positioning and ability don't change after a goal, but he just isn't that good now. When Corey returns this team is going to blow up in a good way - Hawks_49
He hasn’t been good since his rookie year. One good season, average at his very best the rest of his career |

Ward did not loose this game. 4 minute PP with 0 seconds of attack zone time lost it. - powerenforcer
That didn't help but neither did Ward.
Also for all the guys who want to run AA out of town, please look where he was for half of the Hawk goals. |

They are just always open. I didn't get to watch the whole game. First two games, a couple. |

Hate to be negative , but the Hawks will come crashing down and I do like the youngsters, but with this coach and goaltending things would have to change. |

WOW - heckuva game. I love Kaner doing the "lemme hear ya" right after Matthews did it. Joki is looking very good on both ends of the rink - 5 apples in 3 games (although I thought the assist Joki got on Toews' OT winner last night might have been a little bit of hometown score keeping). Crawford is probably happy he doesn't have to be in there and hoping things settle down before he plays his first game.
And giving some credit to a guy who is supposed to be a #7 d-man - Manning played very well tonight.

I dare say anisimov is underrated this year. He was been stirring the drink on the third line and creating opportunities for them and been a threat while been absolutely sound defensively every shift
Kampf is hit or miss depending on the game, kunitz has done absolutely zero |

Thought Rutta played fine tonight. Him and Gusto are forming some chemistry and I'd bet, given a few more games, they will turn into a very solid pairing. |

All in all...I'll take the point. This Hawks club is at best a "work in progress".
Wonder if AZ will have scored by the time they arrive in CHI for the 10/18 game...
...I bet they're looking forward to it. |

Jesus if someone would’ve said that the hawks would have 5 points after 3 games and the captain would have 5 goals he would’ve been banned. If the hawks play hard and don’t give up on games like they did last year it’s a step forward. Cam ward let bad goal s but ours weren’t all unstoppable like cats either.
I have no delusions of a cup this season but let’s see how it goes,
The return of the captain and the play of joki is encouraging |

Yeah....Q is the problem. Apparently, he's also the GM and responsible for the roster and managing the cap.
Guess the Hawks should'a stuck with Savvy back in '08... |
