Damn Matthews again - I Am The Breadman
Like last season, every mistake goes in the net. |
|
|
|
Never easy with this team, can't even count on your best defenseman |

What? Jokiharju has been just fine. |
|

|
Just like the first 2 games look good then have mental lapses, have play with the same urgency for 60 minutes |

Toronto is a talented team, did we really expect they’d roll over for 60 minutes? The Hawks are still playing well, they’re not out of this one. |

Not bad, not what I wanted, tie game, but still not bad. |

Depends if in manic or depressive mood....
Manic say Hawks should be up 5-0, depressive (aka bod), Hawks suck, why do they even take the ice |

If the Hawks keep this up they should come out on top. They gave up the lead, but overall still the better team in that period. |

Giving up two in two shifts for the second nite in a row - bad.
Going out 2-0 and being tied before the end of the period - bad.
Your goalie giving up 2 in only 7 shots - bad. |

No doubt but being up 2-0 last thing you want to do is let them right back into it with a breakaway goal. Hell of a pass by Matthews but terrible terrible mental error by dmen
I mean they are 26 and 28 years old and they really don't understand this, might as well find someone to trade these guys to |

Some not so good play in our own zone. Crow doesn’t get either of those. Over Kunitz he can’t keep up with Anisimov. Wouldn’t mind Hayden there. That’d be a big line that could grind. |

Can’t fault Ward on either goal.
Also... that goal by Debrincat was just filthy, that line is clicking. |

Hawks have tp play their pace, not Toronto's. Don't think the Hawks want to run and gun with the Leafs. |

Long-term Kunitz should be the 13th forward. Agree that Hayden should get a look on the third line.
Hopefully some of the young guys in Rockford step up soon and earn a chance. |

Nice play by Hayden to go to the front of the net. Kid wants to stay playing, good for him. |
