Not trying to start a fight but seriously there were a lot of people saying we should dump Miles Wood over this stupid contract fight. If you watched him play vs. Bern you should realize how much he brings to this team. You want Fast, Attacking and Supportive? That's Miles (frank)ing Wood. Kid is LEGIT. Not saying he's a star but he brings a lot to this team.

I noticed Dea more the Q in the game; but not as much as I'd hoped from either. Let them play a few games.

There is no reason to keep Lovejoy in the lineup over Santini. He's 34 and gone after this year. Rotate him in as the 7th defenseman because he's a decent veteran plug. Santini is 23 and it's time to see if he can establish himself in an appropriate role; not that top pairing bullpoop we put him thru last season.

Lovejoy has a contract and is not going anywhere.
Santini has not shown much either.

I like the Wood -Zajac -JQ line .]noce third pairing if wood learns to pass more.
Last 2 seasons he was one dimensional skating down the wing as fast as possible and shooting . Make more of this and pass to the trailer.

Bratt showing why he is on the team .PLus he put on 8 pounds of Muscle tha will help.Nico did also. Mojo looks like the player we traded for.

Mueller can be good but young and will definitely make mistakes.

I thought Sami Vats was supposed to be very good defender when he was a Duck. I didn't see him play much then, so I don't know. But if he was really good maybe it's a sign that our defensive system is making all our defenders look bad.

The goaltending is crazy. Kink is wildly inconsistent and Lack isn't really NHL material anymore. I would have felt better with Applby backing up Kink and that's insane in it's own right. #PrayforCory

Tough. But fair.

Santini will struggle to pass Lovejoy because they love putting Lovejoy on the PK. I'd love to see Santini get most of the starts so he can be a lot better next yr when we'll make a bigger push in the playoffs

I don't like the Dea move 1 bit unless he sits in the box over Stafford. I would have loved to have seen the same chart with Qville's stats.

All summer I thought the biggest lock was the 3rd line with Coleman-Zajac-Noeson. Now I have no clue how the bottom 6 will look like Oct 6th

I'll be happy if the team scores around 270-280 goals for the season. The defense is suspect, and I agree with everyone that Santini should be suiting up for more games than Lovejoy.

It's a make or break year for Zacha and Severson, and if they flame out what can the Devils actually get for them? I hope that's not the case but they have me worried.

Can't wait for Ty Smith on the backend next year.

Any word on final roster? Today is the deadline and it is 11:40 pm where the Devils are so I would imagine they know what they are doing by now.

No idea but he has a long shoulder injury history. We need legit top 4 D men more then projects.

Stafford is great when he’s the only skater on the ice, but outside of shootouts he’s useless. Give Dea 5 penalty shots on Eddy Lack. If he gets 3 in cut Stafford immediately. If he gets 2 in make him and Stafford race 3 times around the ice and give the faster guy the job.

If Dea gets 1 or 0 or 4 or 5 in give him the job anyway because (frank) Stafford.

If Ty had 9 games to spare, why would the Devils not use it and see what he has?

Yes, once the junior teaks season is over prospects are then allowed to be called up to the NHL
