I didn't watch the game last night...but Jokiharju struggled it sounds like?? - EnzoD
He's 19, he's going to have up and down nights. We just hope the bad nights diminish over time. |

Q was relentlessly psssed before, during and after the game. At least something about this team was relentless.
OH yeah Saad is relentlessly bad... |

Not really, because the two interim years wasted two years of Patrick Kane's prime and probably pissed him off, taking away his Art Ross year line mate...
The window very well should've stayed open after 2015. With different moves, we'd still be right in the middle of the chase, not quite top contenders, but still at least Pittsburgh status (always there, core good enough to carry it with some puckluck) - Slofire94
Well if you want to inject logic into the situation ..... |

In my opinion BradyTkachuk Did not look out ofplace last night, GDBowman , no balls to trade up to have a shot at this kid. I bet he has a better career than Boqvist |

It was hard to be out of place when he spent half the night it the penalty box. He was renting it out for the night.
It didn't help at the draft that he wanted to go to college, and probably scared some teams off. |

i think we are going to be very happy with Boqvist in a few years. D with his skill set are pretty rare.

You can debate all you want about playoff performances for former Hawks teams....or can you can just break it down to the simple fact that Panarin is hands down twice the player that Saad is at the same position and no matter how you slice it the trade was idiotic. You don’t trade players of Panarins caliber/age. Especially not when they have a special chemistry with another superstar(Kane). Saad has been abysmal. But even if he’d have come back playing the way he did in 2013-15 the trade still wouldn’t have been worth it. It was a horrible trade, one of the worst I’ve seen as a Hawks fan. So can people PLEASE stop trying to rationalize/defend it by citing Panarins one round of playoffs with what was an overall flawed Hawks team. Had he been on the 2013-15 Hawks instead of Saad he would have looked just as good if not better. - SimpleJack

If Stan acts now he might be able to get a 6th or 7th round pick for Jokiharju. |

Agreed. Stan should have offered both of the Hawks first round picks and DeBrincat. |

Saad is off to a rough start but I say he’ll still end up with close to 30 goals. |

Only if it is in the direction of the front office. Uni=one, corn=goal in Iroquis. Sure, why not. |

It would be - even with another last place finish - if we could be looking forward instead of back. |

Yeah, but if he keeps using song lyrics, people are gonna start comparing him to Tanner. |

I think we need to see how Forsberg ends up before we say it's one of the worst trades ever. I don't think it will be a win, but if Forsberg last year equals Crow 2011, it could be a draw. |

Please, Tkachuk did not look special - he is big, slow, no hands. He will only start in the NHL because he is a Senator. He will be lucky to hit double digits in goals. Over-hyped. Remember what I have said - if I am wrong I’ll admit it. Boqvist is very special - he will be a star in the NHL. There will be no comparison between the two - Boqvist by a country mile. Also remember that Tkachuk is much older than Boqvist is as Draftees go. |

Forsberg appears to be another example of how Bowman is building an all-time bad trade dynasty. |

Panarin suffered a knee sprain in game 4 and played through it. Team sport, and Panarin/Jones carried CBJ on their backs. - EnzoD
Carried them to Four Straight Losses. So Panarin had a sore knee and a sore back.
