The Flames places Curtis Lazar on waivers. He’d be a reclaimation project but I think he’s worth a shot. I’d rather give Lazar a shot than Martinsen. I wouldn’t expect much from Lazar, maybe a decent 4th liner. - DarthKane
Lazar would be worth considering. Worse case scenario he's what McNeill was to the Hawks. Thought to have NHL size and ability but couldn't put things together. Effective bottom 6 winger potentially who can win board battles, bang some bodies, and agitate, maybe similar to Knott. |

Shudda won big against an AHL team - and did.
Shudda dominated possession - and did.
Probably means not much when it comes to next Thursday in Ottawa, or Saturday and Sunday against two play-off worthy teams, but:
Good to be successful in what they were trying to do, even if against low QOC. |

Was hoping Q would start Forsberg the last two games give him some confidence ,and let him know it was his team .Know Q would never do that ,instead this meaningless win will likely see Q make Ward the opener . And if Ward manages to win a game we should ,he will most likely self-destruct in ST.L and that will mean Forsberg would get the inevitable start at home against the high flying Leafs .. |

Capfriendly has the hawks at a roster of 25. I'm sure that ir's will come into place with crow and murph, but don't we have to be compliant in terms of number on day 1? I can see Forsling going down, but who else? What is left to do, if anything? |

He said, "There was nothing that went right. It was a disaster. There were no plans to fend them off. Nothing to do that would get us back in the game or counter on either side of the ball. Everyone on that field should be fired starting with me." |

When's the last time an opposing coach said that about any Bears' team? |

The bears are who we thought they were ... still funny to this day, but nowhere near that. Mitchie ran the perfect offense and Mack runs the perfect defense. Come on, tap into your inner 85selves |

I was in eighth grade when that game happened. Then they did it the following week to NYG. My teachers didn't give homework because they couldn't believe the bears. |

Mack might be the greatest trade in Chicago history. Their record with drafting is sketchy and usually doesn't pan out all to well. He was easily worth 2 firsts. Hope Gruden likes that money with his suck team. We got the great H. Jon Benjamin, I mean Matt Nagy. |

My all time top five favorite Blackhawks, (note not the top five players) just my favorites over the years:
Stan Mikita
Glenn Hall
Duncan Keith
Pierre Pilote
Bobby Hull - walleyeb1
Mine are:
Chico Maki
Keith Magnuson
Stan Mikita
Jeremy Roenick
Marian Hossa

Disgusting seeing what the nhl has become. Most teams only have maybe two guys that could fight on there rosters. A lot of toughness on waivers.
Hey Stan Kurtis Macdermaid got waived he's a cheap stay at home dman. Would be ideal no 7 and send joki to the ahl. |

Makes up for the Trubisky trade...they gave up way too much for what they most likely could have had without moving up. |

Forsling is counted in that 25 too - so for sure Murphy and Forsling go on IR which gets it to 23. Crawford doesn't have to because there is ample Cap space and he's the 23rd guy - so maybe they carry 3 goalies until CC is ready to play and then send Forsling through waivers ... or maybe Ward because they have the Cap space to "bury" Ward in Rockford.

My wife's dad used to take her to Hawks games when she was a kid and the running old joke was she went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.
