Thanks Carol....it should be better with Pettersson in the lineup for the Canucks. Those three kids (Horvat/Pettersson/Boeser) are going to have to shoulder much of the offensive load by the looks of it for the team.

That's a lot of pressure for a rookie, a sophomore and a guy who's a terrific young center but he's not a #1 guy.

At previous training camps, you could quickly spot 12 or 15 players who looked out of place, couldn't play at a high level. This year at Whistler there's not one. Jim and Travis are going to have some tough decisions. A good problem !

I didn't watch last night's game but I'm curious to see which version of the Kings we will see this season. When they are on they can be a dominant team and their roster looked pretty complete last night.

It's too bad we have a log jam of forwards as Smith is a player that would help this team IMO. His contract is ugly but I think he plays physical, can win faceoffs and score a bit.
