This was made a lot easier because of the casual skate the Knights were taking through the neutral zone. He never got challenged on the play unless you consider the backing in Nicolas Hague, a kid who has a grand total of 5 AHL games of pro experience to his name. I'm not saying he doesn't still have it just that this play really set him up to succeed.

Think mcdavids done this about 8 times already this year. Even JP had a somewhat similar goal. Its not all that impressive specially when you consider the fact the D made no attempt to defend lol The fact he can hang on to the puck at the NHL level is a given, the sad part of the video is how inept the D were lol Its like the 2017 Oilers D right there, just sad.

really bad D coverage by the right guy. Wasn't in position to bail out his partner after Kovy walked him.

Im sure there's plenty being scored, its just the fact that nobody makes a big deal about it because its preseason games that nobody cares about besides you and ek.

Yes, nice goal, but scored in garbage time of preseason blow out.
