Manning gets danced, nice goal by AA.....Toews looks 30 tonight opposed to looking 40 last year. Boquist looks like a completely different player this week than the one I watched at the world jr summer showcase. I like what I’m seeing from 27. Kunitz is not the answer with Cat and Toews...maybe Sikura there??

Debrincat has speed, making hits, great shots. Toews looks fast, rejuvenated even. Kunitz is keeping up. Collectively, looked fine, but I don't see it sticking.

Rundblad, trade Nik for useless Murphy, and now a 2 year over$2 mill deal for a non NHL player, I'm at a loss, they must be spending a lot of time at Binnys because that's the only way these deals make sense

Thanks for the insight on both lines. I'd been seeing the same things. Feel like Schmaltz may still be deferring too much to Kane. Maybe switch it up on first two lines and see how it goes, particularly since Kane and DBC spent significant time working with each other this summer (though Q would never):

DBC - Toews - Kane
Saad - Schmaltz - ??
