The PK will only improve slightly. Firing the Assistants and keeping the Head Coach is moronic. Another brutal year coming up.

Improving on their top of the league PK from February onward (when McLellan took over) isn't likely, but I guess it's possible

Brutal as in trusting Mike Smith to be a number one goalie.

Rattie is not good enough. Expect Brodziak floats up and down the lineup where needed. Good player good guy. Hell of a penalty killer

So you feel that because of his ability to kill penalties and being a good guy that he will end up on the top line with McDavid?

As the 3rd 1st line centre. Behind CMD and Nuge. Sounds Oiler legit, 3 of their Centres on the 1st line.

That's how Todd keeps em guessing. Defensemen on the wings, centres everywhere you look, Leon speaking French, goalies scalping tickets outside before the game. Everyone is position neutral; it's very progressive. That "who are we" question he asked was actually "how do you identify?"

I'd bet Yamamoto takes that top spot from Rattie

Nice to see us running lines that we are more than likely going to use. Far too often we (frank) around trying poop out and not giving guys enough time to gel.

I think Yamamoto is a star in the making. Not so sure about Puljujarvi though. But maybe just needs more time.

they're the same age. main difference being Puljujaarvi was good enough to make the team last year and Yamamoto was not.

Yamamoto was drafted a year later. So he’s a year behind Puljujarvi in his development.

And about 8 years in physical development
