Romanov is #26, so ya that makes sense

But Emelin does have a younger brother, Konstantin

R e a d t h i s s l o w l y . . .

If the majority of people outside of MTL consider Gallagher to be a player very similar to Marchand, then if you tell me that Marchand gets suspended and gets calls against him...more so than Gallagher...

then...

you are also implying that Gallagher does not get as many calls against him...

which is precisely what I'm saying. Gallagher gets away with quite a lot and yet Habs fans still whine about him not getting a fair shake from the refs.

Please show me some evidence of any kind of a dangerous cheap shot that injured another player coming from Gallagher.

Until then.

(frank) off.

I can't believe I have to explain this, but your argument makes no sense whatsoever. The fact that "a majority of people outside of MTL consider Gallagher to be a player very similar to Marchand" doesn't prove anything. If you could bring up tangible examples of Gallagher making vicious Marchand-type plays and not being penalized for it, that would be great. If not, STFU

Of course I will admit that Marchand has recently gone MUCH further with his antics, and he likely has worse intentions on the ice, but these two players are both in the "rats" category, there is no doubt about that. The refs watch them all very closely every shift.

As I previously stated, I like Gallagher and I think he is effective. I think he's great at walking that "line"...I was merely stating that people outside of MTL rarely think he ever gets a raw deal from the officials and many get annoyed with the Habs fans whining about not getting calls. One could just as easily argue the other side that "that little SOB Gallagher gets away with so much and never gets caught!" etc. etc.

None of us know what another person is thinking, but I for one believe that BG has good intentions and is a good guy who just plays hard (slightly on the dirty side).

I don't like Marchand, I think he lacks fundamental intelligence, and I wouldn't be surprised if he truly has bad intentions most shifts. (again, I don't claim to know this player personally).

This was all about whiny Habs fans...and thanks for proving that...again, by whining again.

im going to let you in on a little secret that A) i guess your parents kept from you and B) you should have figured out for yourself by now...

people, generally speaking, are morons. just utterly hopeless, brain-dead mouth-breathing (frank)ing idiots. spending 6 minutes on this site should have confirmed it for you. so using "people" as some sort of barometer of what is and isn't true means absolutely nothing.

1. I tend to have more respect for people than that, perhaps you should too.
2. I have lived and played in most provinces and I still travel a lot, so please (sincerely) forgive me for generalizing, which I clearly was/am.

Go to Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto and ask a buddy over beers if he thinks Gallagher gets robbed by the refs. In MY experience (not yours, that's true) the people I spend time with..don't see it the same.

That's all I was saying.

Have a little more respect for people! (not even 24hrs after the Broncos event last night!!!!)

As far as I can see, you're the only one whining about something here pumpkin.

You keep claiming he falls in the "rat" category of players with absolutely nothing to back that up other than "it's what people think".

And don't give us that crap about "lacking the time to look for it" writing your goddamn posts took you long enough.

If you can't find a Gallagher dirty play in 5 minutes on the internet, it's because he's lightyears from a player like Marchand who, I guarantee, I can find a dirty hit from in less than 30 sec.

He's annoying to play against and he does walk a fine line with goaltender interference but he's not a dirty player. Not even close.

I still highly suggest you gtfo.

Respectfully.

Your pal,
