Fair to assume that Theodore is a no show at the Vegas camp? Still without a contract, would of been great if Bergevin could of had him included in the Pacioretty trade somehow

Theodore, Morrissey and Nurse still without contracts. Wonder if one of them gets traded.

Really? That's interesting... Not gonna claim I've seen lots of him but he always seemed pretty solid and really step up when given top 4 minutes in Vegas, still young too!

I'd take any or all but the price would be steep I'd imagine

Package him out.

There is so many deep teams right now, that there are a few that would want to pay quite a bit for Weber... Oilers likely being 1 of those teams.

There's no doubt Edmonton would be interested in adding Weber and probably a hand full of other teams... Not sure they would give up Nurse unless the Habs took Lucic in the deal though

As long as the Habs get young players and high picks, I really don't care.

5 years is a real long time though... I'd definitely explore other avenues before taking on that contract! They already have a few themselves with term that aren't very good, hopefully some of those guys can play well enough to build up some kind of value to be moved and maybe even fetch some assets

that's the time Habs will need to ice a decent team.
we can not really expect kids 18-19 (Kotkaniemi/Suzuki) to be dominant right away.
they'll join the team in +/- 2 years, will learn and mature, and maybe will be decent top6 players in 4/5 years. and that is IF they succeed.

I expect both Suzuki and Kotkaniemi to be on the roster next October and who's to say what kind of impact they can have, maybe Suzuki puts up a Barzal like season. Also depends where they draft in June but to say they will not be icing a competitive team for 5 years is not something I can agree with, they already have a few nice pieces in place
