Lastly, I appreciate the patience from Hockey Buzz and it’s readers as I’ve finished up this latest family move. We finally found a home (albeit with extremely difficult to deal with sellers) that we wanted, acquired, and moved into. I also had to help my mother finish her cross country move to Calgary this past weekend, one week after my move. I can safely say my calves are dire need of a rest!

Welcome to Calgary! I didnt mind Shinkaruk but he was getting leap frogged on the depth chart. Not sure whether Rychel will fair much better. Klimchuk is the next one on the bubble as well who needs to have a solid year to crack the lineup. Personally, Klimchuk is better, more solid than Shinkaruk & would be totally worth throwing a 2nd round pick as he's really hasnt had much of a shot either with the big club, much to the chagrin of several Flames fans. Klimchuk has a more cerebral 200' game but another late 1st round pick in 2013. Fck we have a lot of 2013 1st rounders floating around. Lol |

Nice pickup for the Habs, apparently Shinkaruk is pretty skilled. Not a huge fan of Bergevin as a whole but he's made some decent depth moves this summer. |

I think if we really looked objectively at what he's done with players and coaches, he's had a really good off season response to last years nightmare. They aren't going to finish top 3 in the Atlantic, but if Price is Price the Habs are a dif team. We will see though... |
