Is that right?
Logan Brown has only played 71 total games at all levels combined over the last 2 seasons??? |

I am really pulling for Tkachuck to end up being a solid player for us, because I still have a feeling that Zadina will haunt us for years to come |

should of taken Zadina - wingz4life
Yes.
Several of the Sens prospects will likely be better than Tkachuck, especially Formenton. I just hope that Tkachuck is not a bust.

2 very different players, I think it will be hard to compare.
it's like Matthews vs laine (and yes, I know that both of those players are much better than tkachuk or zadina).
you have one who's a pure goal scorer, guy will light the lamp pretty much every game. but beyond that he doesn't bring a poop ton to the game.........and I watched zadina play an entire year in Halifax, that's exactly what he is.
on the other hand, you have a guy who isn't quite as strong a goal scorer (but can definitely still find the back of the net) but who doesn't seem to have any holes in his game.
who's the better player....hard to say. I was pissed initially at the tkachuk pick, but I think my mind was SOOOO negative with anything to do with the sens at that point that I was gonna find a reason to hate anything they did. now that the pick has been made, I'm happy they took tkachuk. I think he'll be a good player for a long time. |

be different if tkachuk played a premium position (Center) as a opposed to winger like him and Zadina do... |

I feel like tkachuk has the potential to be a mark stone type player, with some edge to his game |

"Especially Formenton"? That's an odd take to have. |

Tkachuk was a good pick, he'll be a solid NHL player. Maybe the ceiling is higher on Zadina but I think the two were pretty interchangeable in terms of who to pick, both are just as likely to be top 3-6 fwds on any NHL team. |

I think Batherson will end up 3rd best just behind Brown and Tkachuk. |

Hunter, coach of the national juniors, has already expressed doubt that Formenton will be available this Christmas. He already possesses NHL speed and hands.
There is less than 72 hours difference in the birth dates of Formenton and Tkachuck.
I did not think the Sens should have sent Formenton back down last year (except for the fact that he was so very young).
I think he makes the team this year out of training camp and because of his speed and responsible defensive play he will get to play some first line minutes with Duchene as the season unfolds. He will also kill penalties.
