I was just looking at some stats for Jeff Skinner. He had a Corsi for of 55% last season. Yet 5v5, he was -23. How do you control 55% of the play and still be -23.

I've watched him play and he's really average.

My question was poorly worded. I know why he's not very good but I don't understand how the nerds think that the CF stat is somehow accurate as to what actually happens on ice. I mean Zone starts are a good stat but Corsi really tells you nothing that happens in the game.

I prefer the shoot out over a tie. I also don't think playing longer OT would benefit anyone. Long enough season already.
