What a desperate trade. We did not even get a bag of pucks, or even a 9 × 12 signed glossy of Dahlin as he laughs at us as we are now worse than the sabres. We just traded a former first round pick and 30 goal scorer, and we did not even get a first round pick back? We were one of the worst scoring teams a few year sago, and this makes us so much better offensively how?

Gotta love the price, no doubt. Gives Nylander, Asplund, Malone, Smith, Olofsson a chance to really earn their injury call-ups.

Depth is so far superior; injury call-ups will be super fun. If Eichel stays healthy, we should be well in the mix for the WC, and probably should be nipping at Boston's heels imo
