What are the plans for Rinne moving forward?

He just won a Vezina but is in the final year of his contract. Turning 36 early this season do they sign him to a short term extension or is there a chance they move him as a rental? I don't know who else is in the system so maybe best, as a Cup contender to just ride out the year with 2 good goalies?

Will they start giving Saros more starts this year to transition him into the starter for the 19 - 20 season?

This is Peks last year as the starter. He had a great 3/4 of a season last year but fell off at the end and was just average to bad in the playoffs. They should have given Saros a few starts in the playoffs and maybe it goes differently.

I'd like to see Peks retire and maybe get into coaching. Since he's done great with Saros already, he would be an ideal coach for him and the Preds going forward. We'll see.

If Peks has a good year I see giving him a 1 year deal. Saros is the future ...maybe.
If he has a good season...yes. His cheap contract gives the Preds room to bring in another veteran goalie next year or beyond should he stumble.

My money is on Pekka sign a 1 or 2 year deal and games get split closer to 50/50 instead of 75/25
