Interesting that C.J. Smith got the most money of the non-reinhart category of RFAs. That would seemingly make him a front-runner for an NHL LW position, if you believe in a correlation between pay and skill. NHL mock roster 84. Yes, Erod is not an ideal 1LW candidate

I think Stripes is right in that we have too many waiver eligible players as is...we are making another deal this summer.

Bailey doesn't seem to be a Botts guy, he hasn't really gotten an opportunity under him. I'd wager it's something like McCabe + Bailey + 2nd rounder being shopped or something like that.

Amerks should be fun next season.

Only the 1st 4 are signed. We own Peterson for another month, but he's not even on an AHL deal. Florentino is on an AHL deal.

Gotta remember Bailey was dealing with some injuries last year that restricted his play. However, what did he really do to earn a spot? No one really did much of anything. Botts said CJ deserved a call up had he not gotten injured. And here's a funwow, Taylor said Nylander deserved his callup. We'll see how they all work in training camp. I feel like Nick Bailey are on real short leashes.
