They're going to have some serious cap trouble in the near future.
Too many way too good players. 9 contracts next season with Trouba, Morrissey, Laine, Connor all to sign, probably somewhere around 26 million or more for the 4.
That leaves 12 million for 10 spaces. Perreault and Little probably going to have to go and both entering there 30s |

Locking up Hellebuyck 6.1mil per is a pretty good start.
Losing Perrault I think would be fine for them they didn't seem to need him this post season |

Exactly, embarrassment of riches over there. Glad they're not in our division |

6mil/3 years or 6.5-7 for 4/5 years
The same, possibly a smidge better than this year.

They should be asking for draft picks as many years ahead as possible, just keep bumping them forward until your current core starts getting old then you'll be prepped for a lightning fast rebuild |

If Brock was smart, he would wait until the end of this season, produce at the pace he did last year, and it wouldn't surprise me (with the way the elite are geting paid out of ELC's) if he gets over 8 million on a multi year contract. |

Make trades, not sign players like Wheeler. Connor could sign a bridge deal. Might be hard if he puts up another 50+ season though.
They still have quite a few good prospects coming. I don't doubt Chevy will figure a way out of any possible situation. |

I don’t think he will go for a 3 year unless he plans to sign an 8 year 15 mill per contract after that
Can EP play LW on a line with bo and Brock ?
Flames move to TO and sportsnet changes sportsnet pacific to sportsnet Toronto ...just to keep up with all the hockey content in the GTA |

Just put him with Sutter, that will keep the contract value down. |

Brock is the only player worthy of being a top line player on this team (right now anyway), I would have no problem with the Canucks paying him what he is worth. |

Sorry, I was being sarcastic. I didn't think you were actually going to respond with an answer.
I don't have a problem paying Boeser what is he worth to the team. |
