You should make a tear pie and some mixed messages cupcakes for this years picnic - CanuckDon
As long as there's a slip and slide, drinks in the cooler and hot dogs on the grill, you bring whatever dessert you want
I hear hate souffle is a real hit |

At that point it's on Green and the players honestly. JB knows we were too soft, even with EG, he went out and replaced the Sedins with grit. It won't help our chances of getting out of the basement, but this time if Boeser get's pushed into a yawning bench door there will be payback. That and watching kids flow in and out of the lineup will make this season a lot better than watching the Sedin's go out to pasture.

I'm still in debate on how I think the season will go. Upgrade in some places, down grade in others. Don't know how EP, QH or other rookies will do.
Just a ton of question marks. (goaltending, health, progression of youth).
Don't expect them to be a top 15 team but can't decide on whether they will be in the 16-23 or 24-31 range. |

We will also have Linden and Benning pinatas that halflings can savage with croquet mallets. |

Anything is possible, but if the d and goalie tandem is the same I just don't see us anywhere but the bottom. if Hughes and EP make the lineup, we could be a bubble team. I do think both would have a legit shot at the calder. IMO Hughes would have a huge impact, because we would actually have someone who could produce offence on the backend. |

Team defence should easier without the Sedin's. Team has to be better 5v5. |

Doesn't matter if the d doesn't score and your goaltending is subpar IMO. Scoring defence and goaltending were the big issues, I don't see them being solved. But we are on our way at least. |

I personally don't think it was, I mean I know it's tough to swallow that were just not a very good team but it is reality. I really think this is our last year at the bottom though. |

Honestly it would be worth having him in the lineup to play 6-7 minutes of pretty much only powerplay IMO |

This year bottom but with flashes of youth talent, next year bubble team as they produce more consistent. |

Neither do I but when you said, scoring, defense and goal tending were the big issues....I was trying to figure out what was left.
I think this team will finish bottom 5 and pick 5-10 again, whether this it improves the next year or not really depends on Tryamkin/Joulevi/Hughes/Demko IMO.
I have no doubts EP will be a good top 6 player and confident that we have a number of other good young forwards who will contribute soon. |

Exactly. I expect he d to be better next year, young guys making the lineup. Doesn't seem to be in the cards this year unless they move Hutton. |
