ARI offers $15m x 7yr
TOR can't match, compensated with ARI next four 1st rounders
Flip those four 1st rounders (plus a 2nd) to EDM for McDavid
At the end of the day, everyone ends up where they're most comfortable.  |

What is your point?
Are you trying to prove that McDavid is better? I said it three times already and so have pretty much all Leaf fans. My point was in response to that guy saying Matthews was a 7 (out of 10) offensively because he only has produced a high of 69pts in his 2yrs.
By the way, Leafs went from dead last place in the NHL right to playoffs in Matthews rookie year and he was the main reason for it.

Right. Didn't have anything to do with Kadri exploding, Andersson shoring up the goaltending, 3 other rookies making impacts, JVR's continued strong play, Gardiner and Zaitsev averaging .5 points per game... It was mainly Matthews. |

Well, he is an idiot.
Add - I wanted him in Buffalo, but it seems a lot of players don't like playing for him.
Kind of glad he went elsewhere after reading comments from Chelios, Zetterberg, Suter, Commodore ETC.
