The plan is to run four lines of McDavid-Karlsson, to minimize the risk of other players and contracts getting in the way. On defense, it will be Karlsson-McDavid; putting them on their opposite sides will throw everyone off. Talbot wins the Vezina, and Chiarelli is given the key to the city. Ottawa is just holding an auction right now for Karlsson. They are weighing the offers and seeing if anyone thrown in more out of desperation. The origin for most of the rumors is probably the Ottawa Senators.
