the irony is that the Canadian teams have had the worst management for a long time.

lots of crazy stuff in sports. I didn't foresee Ottawa falling off a cliff after assembling a solid playoff team. Karlsson and Tavares moving are huge shifts. LA just got what I think will be a 60..maybe 70 point guy for nothing in Kovalchuk. Calgary getting Lindholm and Hanifin, Chicago fading into the sunset while Colorado is emerging as something special... and they could even get a great pick in the '19 draft thanks to Ottawa lol. btw.. Gaborik has this season plus 2 more in Ottawa. A handful of young studs are emerging..such as Barzal. JVR is a Flyer again, Pittsburgh actually managed to finally get WORSE, Jumbo Joe is STILL going, Blues land O'Reilly, San Jose and and Ducks seemingly appear SLOW, Yotes and Canucks continue to suck, Habs continue to reap the rewards of an asinine trade of Subban/Weber, Vegas will come down to earth, the Wings are a depressing shell of their glory days (poor Zetterberg), and Trotz left the team he finally won the Cup with.. to coach the ISLANDERS who just lost their franchise center.

In other news.. it's hard to believe the Wild have SIX MORE YEARS of Suter and Parise, not including this upcoming year!
