You cant be serious. Did you not see when the Leafs didnt play Komarov when he got back from injury in the playoffs?

Komarov's hands dropped off a cliff the last couple of years. He's gotten slower and progressively worse. Not sure what games you were watching.

Is this Lou's burner account or his wife's?

I think he was still injured and not ready...he was never a scoring beast..had some bad luck a couple years and is still great defensively...we didn't win anything when we replaced him unfortunatlely.

I’m fine with that. Should easily be in the playoffs with the forward group they’ll be icing. Then hopefully grab a top 4 dman around trade deadline to bolster the defence for playoffs.
- bryant

You guys have already qualified for the Playoffs with the garbage that MTL, OTT, FLA, DET and BUF will be icing.

A source who has a great batting average says he feels "very comfortable" with a source that tells him Karlsson will be traded to the #TBLightning
Stay tuned. #senators

Are the sens dumb enough to take Callahan back to help make the cap work for TB? well yes i know they are..but I still dont know how they can afford EK

It was confirmed he was ready to play. They chose to stick with Jonsson/Kapanen which was a no brainer to me.

I thought Dorion doesn't like trading in the division.

Maybe they can trade him to Arizona and then Arizona can flip him to Tampa for draft picks.

Works for me.

Any LW on those top two lines will suffice.

I agree, I have no idea how they will work it considering a lot of their team have NTC's and i cant imagine them waiving to goto the Senators.

Well he did say it himself that he wont trade within the division..took a poop return for hoffman because of it.. thats why i have a hard time beleiving he will go to TB. Like he would just hand the best team in the league in his own division the best D?

if he does..he is more of an idiot than I thought. arbitrarily applying stupid rules to himself

With the way Jake played in his own end for most of last season... I can't see the Jets making a play for him at the expense of a defensively sound big D man.
- mlindsay

Myers has (in 10 seasons) had one really good offensive season (his rookie year with 48 points) and has had more than 30 points two other seasons. At $5.5m now and probably looking for a $7m contract - Jets will be looking to move him out almost for sure. Two things about Cheveldayoff - one he is among the cheapest GM's in the league, two signing Trouba and Hellybuck this year and Laine, Connor and Wheeler next year next year will not be cheap. It will probably lead to moves at some point.

The fact that his stats last year and his stats when he was a rookie phenom are pretty well identical.

Carolina just loaded up their D....why would they trade any of them away?
They continue to improve their D, and so far the leafs havent been able to.

- Fakepartofme

And they are still a sh!t team that finished 14 points out of a playoff spot, with a minus 28 goal differential. They can't score goals for sh!t and are trying to move one of their top goal scorers.

But are you looking for improved D in your end or more scoring?

I would think the Leafs are set in the Offensive end...

Jets are going to have a hard time keeping their players together. Id reach out on Myers/Buff to see what it takes. Not sure there is a fit there though.

Laine will be in Eichel Territory 10M+
Connor 6+
Wheeler 10+
Hellybuck - 5+
Trouba 6+
Morrissey 3M+
Tanev 2.5+

Plus they have Buff 7M, Little at 5M, Perrault at 4M, Ehlers at 6M, Scheifele at 6M. They likely have to get rid of Little somehow.

What about Z for myers?
- Fakepartofme

Zaitsev had a brutal season last year, that said, Winnipeg would probably make that move because he is controllable for a long time at $4.5 m which would probably sit well with Cheveldayoff. The problem would be Myers is ok for $5.5m this year, if he needed $7 m over the next 7 years would you do it? I'm not sure.

On top of the fact I can't see them signing Karlsson long term with the two bigger contracts already on defense and Kucherov needing a new deal soon too.

Tampa also has a condition on their first round pick in 2019 with the Rangers so why would Dorion want the 2020 pick?
