jesus. the 3rd team involved is what tricks me. i figured it would just be straight up like Sergachev , JT Miller, Taylor Raddysh , and 2020 1st for Karlsson.

I think the third team is because they have something in the works for an extension for Karlsson so they need to shed salary. If I was a betting man I would think Kucherov goes if we get Karlsson, not Sergachev. Kucherov & Johnson type of thing, not both to Ottawa but Johnson to clear cap space, maybe to NYR with Girardi and Kucherov to Ottawa.

Don't make bets if you can't pay the price

Kucherov is not going to anywhere but the bank in Tampa. So, let's just get that out of the way. Losing Kucherov to get Karlsson would be addition by subtraction. Not going to happen with Yzerman. We aren't talking about Chiarelli here.
