Ok but how did we do ? Did we get a lot of guys ahead of where they should have or right where they should have ? Well after they should have ? Lol seems outside of the first and 4th round selections not much is known, that seems odd that there is a place where good hockey players come from but no one but ray shero and co know where its located lol...

Now just trade Ty Smith for Milan Lucic for balance in the world.

We keep drafting goalies but outside of Blackwood none of them seem like very exciting prospects. Or more importantly like guys with a real shot at the NHL.

Overall, I like Shero's commitment to replenish the pipeline because it's such an important position. Just not impressed by these picks. At one time there were a lot of goalies who had come thru this organization to get in the league.

I feel like since drafting nico we have added a few swiss players and im not against it i justt hope its not just for nico but because they are the best picks or players.

I'd be shocked if they are considering Nico's nationality as a factor to making draft decisions beyond maybe feeing positive about Swiss players.

It seems like we were fortunate Ty Smith was available and I'm hopeful about Xavier Bernard. Beyond that everyone else seems like a real long shot.

Idk, but there is a nice highlight film of Fonstad out there and he looked impressive.

Overall I have faith in these guys. I’m happy to see the drafted different types of defenders. I am of the opinion you should have some fast, generally mallet puck movers and some larger shut down guys.

When does the Devils development camp start ?
