I personally don't see Shero going K'Andre Miller. He's probably the weakest defensively in the first round. You'd almost take Merkley over that.

I "hope" Farabee drops to us. I ran my own mock draft and saw it as a possibility. There are a lot of guys I probably wouldn't be displeased with (McLeod, Kaut, Lundestrom, one of the Russians, Sandin, Smith, Hayton, etc) unless Shero went off the board.

Todd tweeted about Nino being available from Minn. swap firsts (17 for 24) for Nino and Ennis? NJ would have to sweeten the pot more (Ray’s been able to make steaks at the draft), but that’s the basis of the deal.

I'm not that high on Neiderreiter. I don't find his contract is what he's worth. Also forking over another 5m for Ennis... 10M more payroll and a trade down is too tough to swallow for ... what seems to be a guy who barely makes the grade as a second line winger. If he's a 3rd line wing, he's still paid too much.

If Minnesota want K'Andre Miller and need to rise in the draft to get him, give em Severson, we'll take Dumba, and they can move up :D (they'd never do that) ... otherwise, pluck 2 3rd round picks from them and call it a day.

Given their wealth at center, I don't see they'll pick him, but if they do, I wouldn't be disappointed. You can always turn center assets into something in the future. See Henrique.
