If severson where to get dealt what would have to come back ? I saw in the hawks thread that they thought ray would send severson plus a 4th and 5th for 27th overall. I didnt think it was near enough and that they should be adding but maybe that is fair value just not what we need moving forward...

Congrats to Hall on the MVP it was very well deserved and it was great seeing him win it last night! I am actually surprised the voting was that close. As the article states Nico was 41 points behind Hall on the team in points where as Mikko Rantanen was able to provide a lot more help for Mac Kinnon. Without Hall, the Devils probably don't even win 20 games this year! Especially considering the Devils battled keeping a franchise goalie healthy all year!

I feel terrible, We should have at least thrown in Ryan Clowe and the rights to Ilya Kovalchuk to even it up!..

It was great to hear Taylor Hall talk so positively about being in New Jersey and that he seems to feel a real connection to the team. Its probably not worth anything until he signs an extension but still it seemed he went the extra mile to mention his adjustment and connection to the franchise.
