Jan, just one point of order. Obviously, majority rule can't be used on trades, as someone is going to win the trade one way or the other according to the voting percentages. I think it should be a reasonableness standard, and I think you make the call on it (after hearing people out, of course). |

I vote for no trades. Too subjective and fans of teams involved are going to be way too opinionated to have it work.
If that's too extreme, I say Jan assembles an odd-numbered panel of Hockeybuzz bloggers that aren't named James Tanner and they vote on the validity of the deal among themselves and that's the final word. |

Point taken. Why I said even if majority overruled, as they had on an earlier pick, I had right of last refusal and could either accept the majority view or rule differently. But duly noted. |

I disagree with the pick. They should trade it to Dallas for Honka and the 13th. Maybe Oils need to add Bear to balance. Seems more like a Chia move. |

Yea especially with it being only a one round mock, I don't think there really needs trades |

Exactly. I thought about trading down from 12 but then realized I'd just be making less picks and whats the fun in that |

Don't even tell us what it is. It's already been overruled.

It’s ridiculous. This I’m sure has become quite the chore for Jan and needlessly so. Edmonton needs to be its own damn country haha |

Jan, if you schedule allows and the Islander fan has given you his write ups, I would just throw the picks up there ASAP. I think we may be all tired of talking about the Oilers and Kotkaniemi. |
|
|
|
I think the 10 selected in this mock draft will be the first 10 off the board, the order could just get a little wonky. Looks like the Rangers will be looking at Kotkaniemi, Bouchard, Takchuk or Boqvist. Out of the 4 I would probably go 1.Takchuk 2.Kotkaniemi 3.Bouchard 4.Boqvist |
