Karlsson is GREAT but that foot injury is SERIOUS and not talked about. He was not that good looking this past year and he is essentially a 1 year rental.

I know I've read in multiple places that Karlsson's foot injury is on the same level as Foppa's foot injury. It might not ever heal.

If it was my team... I'd be EXTREMELY hesistant to empty the cupboards for him.

He’s 1 year away from being a UFA

He’s going to get a huge contract

His foot injury scares me

He would be the perfect player to mentor Dahlin

Best case is he’s a stud for 3 years and so is Dahlin and you trade Karlsson for a huge haul because you can’t afford him, Eichel, Mitts, and Dahlin.

But that package you suggested is about right but I wouldn’t do it.
