Once upon a time, my wife worked with a guy who lived on the street where Doughty was billeted.

The guy's son was the #1 Doughty fan - his room was just wall to wall Doughty Guelph and LA stuff.

At least according to my wife's co-worker, Doughty was the nicest kid imagineable, and would still email the guy's son from time to time as an LA King.

I was not enthusiastic about the moved to Oshawa 5 years ago, but found a nice area (huge surprise in Oshawa) in an area where housing was significantly undervalued. Timing was right.....3 years after moving in the property value had doubled. Still a nice area (1 block away from Courtice), but I still wish I did not live in Oshawa.
