I get it... but just like hockey is a contact and high speed sport with contact... soccer or football is a game wherein you will at times be struck by the ball, and be in contact with other players.

playing soccer at higher levels, hitting heads while attempting to head the ball.

there's tons of real contact in soccer. If you wife/mother/father believes its a nice activity with little chance of injury then respectfully they have no idea what they are talking about


diving for a ball and ending up "contacting the goal post" is another popular one
