Going to be interesting if Trotz is possible if Lou wants a coach before the draft. I would be very happy Daryl Sutter as well. I'm not sure about Tippett.

Here come a handful of updates:
Isles and Tavares still on pace to sign the 8 year $84M contract I mentioned back in November.
Isles have made contact with Boston on Rask, Edmonton on Talbot and Washington on both goalies.

So does Lou trade both 1st rounders... maybe the 2nd rounders?

Does he include one of the centres for a trade of Max Pacioretty?

Does he make a play for Karlsson? Or maybe Hoffman???

It’s nice to hear Ses, but I find it hard to believe Karlsson has LI as top 3 at this point. No Starting Goalie, spotty top 4 D and 2 different non NHL quality home Arenas for the next 3 years. Not to mention their franchise player hasn’t signed yet.

No way Isles can even fit Karlsson 7 and Isles night not be at the top of his list but I do think Isles will be seen in a whole new light now that Lou is in charge even if more work is needed.

Don’t say can’t, we can always get rid of a contract or two via trade or buy out.
Won’t be easy but anything’s possible. I think VGK will throw a ton of $$$ at Karlsson and JT for that matter.

I would love for it to be Trotz but unless the Caps have let him talk to other teams I doubt Trotz is hired tomorrow. I would love for Daryl Sutter to be hired if Trotz is not available. I'm not interested in AV and do not have a lot of interest in Tippett.
