I would love the isles to hire Keefe

Keefe is heavy analytics, something that would match the Isles setup and players... even if Garth Snow seemed to always deviate from that setup with his coaches. Right now, with Lou absorbing that setup, and due to his experience in Toronto, I'd think he follows that roadmap.

The problem with Keefe and Smith vs the vet coach is Lou's desire (and prob due to JT's stance) of winning now. Tippet, Trotz, AV (not big on him), and that ilk would have at least proof of pedigree.

then again, you have to start somewhere.

Don't know if it's true, but I just saw on the Rags' board that chiefs has been banned for 2 months for making some sort of joke about Pelle Lindbergh.

I think you're gonna see a guy like Keefe get hired, and Lou is gonna flank him with experience. I dont buy into this unproven coach status. When you're a winner, it transfers to any level. Much like Laviolette, success follows when you're a winner.

Isnt tonight the Calder Cup finals (Game 7)? Oddly enough Sheldon Keefe is coaching in it, and i dont see Brent Thompson anywhere.....
