It will be refreshing to see a re-built Islander front office with professionals.

I took a casual look at some successful NHL teams (LA, Chi, TB) and a look at the Leafs to see how the front office structure was set up. Night and day compared to what the Islanders have, and have had for 25 years!

It will be interesting to see what this franchise looks like after filling out a staff.

It will be refreshing to see a re-built Islander front office with professionals.

The last 25 years will go down as one of if not the worst run organizations/front office staff in all of pro sports.

Despite all the Mark Hunter talk, it seems that Lou is surrounding himself with many tools for himself.
