Even Hoffman will fetch more than what MB got for Galchenyuk.

MB decided he wouldn't sign Chucky as a UFA. so there's 2 more years of Chucky at 5.9M.

instead he prefers Domi, probably at 4M, probably for 4-5 years. cannot say I disagree with him.

as for MB, yes he should have been fired a year or 2 ago. before MT.

Honest question: Do you think the Habs will get more offense out of Domi than Chuck as it stands now?

more than Chucky, or more than Domi did with the Coyotes?
I think Chucky is better offensively, but Domi will be a better 2way, and will improve his numbers of the past few years. but will still score less than Chucky.

More... I think Chucky will outscore him in AZ and Domi will be Drouin 2.0 as a center.

Meh, for me it is not about liking Chucky more, it is wasting assets in trading for players that do not fit the biggest need of the team.

We need a top 3D man and a top 2 Center (at least)... Habs trade one of their best chips for a guy who was moved to wing because he did not cut it as a center, who will then be asked to play center in MTL...

It is just pure and utter poop player asset management. Over and over again.

This is a (frank)ing Drouin fail 2.0.

Can’t have enough wingers with questionable potential when your organization can’t extract or develop that said potential

Domi will score more next year than he did last year, but that is not much of a thing to get excited about really.

This isn't even worth discussing. Galchenyuk has crushed Domi's goal scoring output on some Habs teams that rivaled even the Coyotes in maximizing lotto odds. He's clearly a better player now and probably has a higher ceiling as well.

I’m talking pure Habs as I don’t follow the Coyotes.

Domi might help hold a 1-0 lead or a 2-1 lead if Price doesn’t have his feelings hurt that particular night...but will he give us a commanding lead? Be effective on the PP?

Or....be deployed properly by our dinosaur coaches? So many layers to this inept org that you can’t even evaluate a player properly.....because they’re a different player once they leave this team....hopeless

Well it was rhetorical really... the numbers don’t lie...it’s not like the Habs and Coyotes are THAT far apart in terms of being a total poop show....

To be honest I'd argue the Coyotes are in a better position right now lol. At least they don't have anchor contracts and completely stupid staff.

They wish they had The contracts of Alzner,Price, Shaw, Weber (i realize the details) , the Real Schlemko etc

And wish they were SO super close to just a reset with underperforming, under developed and declining assets while being the furthest team away from competing that the NHL has seen!!

Hopefully nobody posts anything negative on Price’s Facebook next year and we can have an amazing year .....??
