Not worth 17th overall simply for the fact his past two seasons he has reached 39, and 42 points. Good production, but his defensive game is weak, and looking at an 8 yr extension north of 8.5M is a major issue. If you've been following the finals, youll notice that Carlson is an absolute animal every game, and would sign for less, while holding onto that 1st round. If not, we could probably sign Green to a low-term contract in the ball park of 2yr 11 million. Then we would not have to worry about Hall/Hisch/Vats. Maybe Enstrom on low term as well to stabalize the bottom pairing. But please no OEL!!!!
