Nice to see my future top pair of Hughes-Hronek looking good with the passing efficiency.

I think its time to send Cory for a very high draft pick to get our D that we need. NHL seems to be going toward a 2 goalie system anyway, we dont need a 6mil man, as Kinkaid proved.

Or flip Cory for Larsson ? I'd be okay with that.

No denying that kink had a very good stretch, but he isn't and won't be a #1

Thats one of my points, we dont need a number 1, 2 number twos.

Don't disagree with you on looking into potential returns on Schnieds. He has been a fantastic tendy. If he can fetch a top 5 pick, or a top D, that is something worth considering. That being said, KK is not a starting tendy. I would be curious to test FA and look into Hutton/Khobodin. If not Winnipeg would love to shed the Mason contract in exchange for nothing. One year 4.1M left and the kid did not get a real shot, which was understandable given Hellebuyck's vezina calibre season.

WPG is a fantastic team I am watching like a hawk. Buff/Enstrom/Trouba/Morrissey/Meyers/Kulikov/Morrow/Poolman are all servicable D that clearly don't fit in the roster. Wouldnt mind poaching a guy or two from that list on the cheap. But please no Larsson. Asking price is too high for a guy who cannot skate.

I still will always believe that trading for Schneider set the devils back at least 5 years.

It's not like Lou and company could draft well anyway. Most of those picks would have ended up being garbage.

With Lou Lams at the helm in Brooklyn, it's all but guaranteed JT hits free agency
