De haan would be an upgrade over Moore but the Devils would still be a lower seed which fizzles out in the first round. A bigger move needs to be in the picture.

Agreed. I think we need to target cap strapped teams for quality. IE, Orlov or Dumba. Dumba is due for a new contract, and the 23 year old was a stud throughout the winnipeg series with Suter on the ir. Orlov is 26, inked for 5 more seasons at 5.5M, and is an all around terrific player. Taking his contract would allow the cap to keep Carlson and Grubeaur. De haan is a strong kid, but I am not a fan of his speed or agressiveness. Dumba or Orlov please.
