Funny how he was pulled off the first line for game 3 and all of a sudden Tampa has won two straight. There is only one ex Ranger I would be happy to win the cup and that is Danny G...everyone else can fall off a cliff

I feel about the same.

I still kind of hope Tampa loses, but getting that extra first rounder would sure be nice currency to go into this summer's trading season with

I am with you, but I also have no issues with McDonagh either.

I think ultimately my feeling about the Rangers and Ryan McDonagh is I thought it was going to be a lot more than it was.

I do have issues with him. He is much better suited to the role he is in with Tampa. He did not fit well with the Rangers in a leadership role and that is probably not entirely his fault. But it still makes me mad how that all panned out.

McDonagh did not seem happy the last few years with the Rangers. No captain this upcoming season. Lets not ruin another player. Just a bunch of A's.

Maybe playing under AV had something to do with it. He seemed to turn them all into pansies. McDonagh seems to have some of his snarl back unless I'm imagining it.

If they play like they did last year than they will be a bunch of A's

He got tons of minutes and played every situation, don't think AV was the problem. Look at Miller now, unless everyone believes AV is calling Cooper and telling him how to use Miller.

I agree with this. I actually felt much sadder when Girardi and Stepan left. But unlike Callahan, I don't think McDonagh really did anything that pissed me off. Callahan tried to hold up the Rangers for a crazy contract at that deadline. I get that players need to make their money, but I thought he was unreasonable. McDonagh just had a bad year and looked worn down by the whole thing.

Tampa players should be sucking Vasilevskiy's knob today. He won that game almost single handedly

I'm not questioning the usage, more the style he imparted on his players. J.T. Miller is an enigma, the bad kind.

Did he have a parachute? Looks like he had something on. Was that supposed to be a base jump off a highbar?
