I still think we have to wait to see what coach we hire and what system we want to implement before we can decide what type of players to target.

But honestly I am open to any player really. As long as the Rangers don't have to overpay.

I'm so excited for Carolina's garage sale. Gotta love player movement in this cap era. Very rare.

I would take Faulk if it included Staal or Smith going the other way.

They would definitely want a fist and prospect

I'm not particularly fond of Skinner. Just seems undersized to me. I am also very reluctant to have them throwing these newly acquired assets around.

I want to see them pick where they are for the most part and try to lure good FA's over (JT, I know pipe dream but you need to keep the cap space there until he is signed) and John Carlson.

If it removes those anchors I am all for it. But as mentioned below, it will require the Rangers to include expensive pieces to offload those contracts.

Skinner's skating is second to none. A change of scenery would do him great.

Size in today's NHL is not a huge issue, wouldn't you agree?

No thanks on Faulk, seems like a Mcdonagh-lite

Dont really want anything there except that #2 or Hannifin and I doubt either are available

200 of them against the Rangers

could always try and sign him next offseason but he doesnt seem like a guy they should be dealing picks/prospects for

Skinner seems like a guy you get if you are a competitive team, not starting a rebuild.

like I said, if it was just money then sure but they are in no place to be trading assets for him

plus they already have a left winger coming

Would love to get Elias Lindholm. I would like to think Spooner and NYR 2nd rd pick get it done? Maybe TB’s 1st?

Skinner is 27, and has a recent 30 goal season. There's no chance he's signing a 2-3 year deal
