They're just dying to offload O'Reilly and tell you how awesome he is and list off all the things he does all in the same sentence
- obie

when discussing RoR in the sabres thread he is horrible and needs to be traded.

when discussing in other ones we should easily get a 1st and prospect or top line winger and 2nd

Sounds like a Buffalo problem, doesn't mean the Habs will hand them 2 good young F to accommodate that!
- obie

Again. I never said thats a fair trade

And its part of the habs problem too
Its not rocket science to figure out why O'reillys name has been in the montreal rumors.

Sabres need wingers/ habs need centers

Are you sure you don't mean that they just need "one center"

Even then the habs need more. More like a #1 and #2 center. In my own opinion i think an Oreilly for Galchenyuck straight up is close to fair. Perhaps the habs sign Johnny T too. Then they have their 1-2 Cs

Okay now thats just retarded. Galch has been up and down the lineup even playing on the 4th line occasionally and cant seem to play center. Hes not better than Oreilly

Whatever you say man... Maybe go and try peddle O'Reilly to some other team?

He has the potential to be a bigger threat offensively, he's younger and cheaper

funny how habs hater think sometime.... Where was WIN a short time ago ? in the bottom of the league ? did people said HO they will be there for a long time ? Because it'S the Montreal Canadiens, haters love to think that but this team is almost the same that was in 1st place of the division 1 year ago.....we loose Markov and Radulov for nothing and a lot of injury to key players, this is the result ....3rd pick overall....

If Bergevin can pick up a real #1 center and a Healty Weber/Price combo.... i think MTL are back in playoffs soon...... you guys just make fun of the fans because we suck this year...Thats OK lol part of the game..... no team in NHL can make the playoff with no number one goaler whos making the big saves and no 1st D pairing... oh ok maybe the Golden Knights but they surprise everyones lol

Yeah except the Jets were patient, held on to their young talent, and didn't make terrible trades.

You base your value of galchenyuk off of potential? Just like how he was supposed to potentially be the habs #1 center. [/img]

Pretty sure those rumors got shot down quickly and were never reputable in the first place.

which terrible trade they made ? the one i hated the most was Andrighetto for Martinsen... all the other big one i was ok with it 100 %.... the worst move MB did was to fire Therrien to hire Julien.... and this is because of the fans... now that Therrien's gone...they want Bergevin head.... next one will be Molson or Julien.... and the new coach after, and again and again.... the best example is David Poile with Nashville.... for how many years he'S working as GM there ? they struggle a lot in the past but they stick with the same men and look is team today.... people are just overreacting all the times lol
