Ottawa market is almost twice the size of Quebec city and they barely make any money. The corporate market in Quebec City and Ottawa are comparable....they suck. Revenues in CAD and salaries in USD hurt when the CAD is at 77 cents.

The rink would be full the first few years..like in Ottawa, then people will slowly go away and the team will depend on the corporate support which is limited in Ottawa and Quebec City. Feds and Provincial Gvt are not allowed to buy tickets, Habs have huge corporate support, they don't depend Joe Blow to buy tickets to make money.
