On scale of 1-11 (higher the better), how would you rate our prospect pool as a whole?

So pretty much the majority of our prospect pool are depth players/players who will never play in the NHL... great

As much as making playoffs was great for franchise, Dahlin would have been a franchise changer.

That's just plain not true. You're not considering NCAA or AHL or, hell, even players on teams that didn't make it out of their league this year.

Yes but it would also make Hall very very unhappy (to have missed the playoffs again).

I think we have some decent talent in our pool. with that said though, I don't think we have one prospect I'd deem untouchable by any means if the right trade came up... We definitely need to keep adding some more lottery tickets to the pool.

Maybe a 7 or 7.5

The only way to add lottery tickets is to miss the playoffs and we sure don't want to do that. I mean could happen but still, even with Taylor Hall we won't win the lottery every time we're in it.

I think Shero needs to start spending on better Free Agents. If we are on the outside become sellers and get some picks. They won't be lottery picks but it'll help. If the team is still in the playoff hunt then stick.
