As it stands right now:
Marchand-Bergeron-Bjork
DeBrusk-Krejci-Pastrnak
Donato-Kuraly-Backes
Nordstrom-Wagner-Accari
Chara-McAvoy
Krug-Carlo
Grzelcyk-McQuaid
Miller
Rask
Halak - Cape Breton Bruins
Looks about right as of now, except Miller will deservedly play a much much larger role than a 7th.

also yeah, with 8 NHL D signed already something has to give. Wonder if they are shopping Krug? Also for the 4th straight year i'd like to make my obligatory remark that I think having both Miller and McQuaid is redundant.
I guess you can get one healthy body between the two of them? |

Ha, it happens! Ya, I think something has to give too. Now would be the ideal time to deal Krug. With all the love going around lately for smaller point producing defensemen, you would think the Bruins should be able to make out like bandits in such a trade. Not a terrible contract for two more years too. Personally I think it's too many dollars, but he puts up points and those guys get paid. It will only go up on the next contract, now is the time to cash in on the little fella. LOVE his gumption, but alas he does get out-muscled frequently, not from a lack of effort at all, he is just never going to be bigger or stronger than most guys. It's tough though, ideally would like a right winger back, who is realistically available? Skinner would be fine, but he is a LW. Not sure who they might target. I could see this waiting until training camp.

Time to ship a D or 2 for some forward help. Knowing damn well McQuaid wont play a full 82
Also, wouldn't be surprised if they started layering in some of the Sweeney drafted first round defenseman to give them a taste and see where they project
I see all lateral moves here. No significant upgrades
Maybe Nash pulls a Mike Fisher and we see him in January for a couple of million. |

Hello, Don Sweeney, anybody home ????
Tough to believe we couldn’t offer a better package than that. |

Skinner had a full NMC, apparently. May have wanted to be close to home(TO) and play with Eichel. |

Tough time believing 10 other teams couldnt beat that offer. He must have really wanted to go to Buffalo. Not really sure why the Canes were so adamant on moving him. If Buffalo sucks they can probably get more for him at the deadline than they even had to give up to get him. |

Kampfer got screwed over in '11 and never got his name on the cup.
They're going to right a wrong and fix that this year.
Mcquaid probably jumped on the grenade.
Wouldn't be the first one.
+ cap space is always good for when we sign Stempy and Daniel Winnick. (Can you (frank)ing imagine). Winky face. |

Whoa dude, no need to swear!
Lol.
Wolf is going to be missed. Great team player, kept other teams honest, and while he wasn't going to light up the score board he played a sound defensive game and rarely hurt the team by taking dumb penalties.
Killer will need to step up in the pugilist department and could use some help from a forward in pounding peoples heads in. |
