You have a good point
I wonder how face off failure might cost Rockford - jhawk59
I guess it could, but I don't know how they normally do as a team at the dot. I'd have to assume that it is less of an issue at the AHL level because of the difference in speed of play and I'd assume there is less impact by set plays off the draw compared to the NHL, but it would still have to make a difference. |

I would like to know if anyone has watched Forsling enough at Rockford to discern any good or bad change in his game. How much do the forwards help the D in Colliton's coaching? Forsling was out inj for a while, so i just sm really reach out ng out perhaps to regular Icehog followers. Or if Chris Block when (if) he does a season in review. |

Some fans like to cheer for the underdog. Many Canadiens have mixed feelings on the Blue Maple Leaf prominent again.
I hate seeing an undeserving team advance. My way of thinking, your defense sucks Toronto. Gardner never has fulfilled his so called promise and M Reilly practices dislodging the net. On the other hand, i love the character and build mix match the Bruins have orchestrated within much of it the last two seasons. I don't like Marchand scumbag that he is, although he appears to be a money player.
Now Toronto officially leading this contest 2-1. Oh i dread anything could happen game seven. Go Bruins. But does Bettman want Toronto and Canada to advance? |

I would be curious to see if anyone has done an in-depth analysis of some of the ways the Hawks lose draws. On the whole as a team, they were 49.3% (with Toews taking the heavy load on # of draws) but the gap between them and the top of the NHL is ~5%, which I believe is about 3 more won draws over the course of a game. I'd be willing to bet that if the wingers were more physical and engaged to battle for the puck that would close that gap and the faceoff numbers would be stronger. It is no secret that the Hawks lack size up front and I think it shows on some of those 50-50 pucks where the C needs help. - breadbag
I’d like to see FO% for various game situations - especially PK / PP situations.
I’m guessing the Hawks % in their own zone (yes, having to put the stick down first) in PK situations is pretty bad. |

Have you watched the Bruins defense in this series, not much better, it'll be Pitt vs Bolts eventually and honestly Pitt looks like the most responsible defense in the east |

Will Panarin lead the charge back from early period three two goals down? For the russians on that team i like Bobrowski more. He is usually more consistent. |

Rhinne can be hot and cold. Toughest challenge for Pred defense is Winnipeg. Will the best come out in Big Buff. Whomever returns from injury on Jets, there always seems to be someone MIA due to inj.
I cannot imagine anyone yodel about a hockey series. Still have the Shoney breakfast bar in Nashville? |

Now we return to our 24 hr replay of The Ohio State Buckeyes.
You can watch the Cleveland Indians though if you really want to. You say LeBron ain't doing so well? Miami of Ohio - hockey - you don't say.
Well nothing relevant to many in Ohio outside of the Buckeyes. Oh an early Presidential primary woo hoo. |

Bob doesn't impress me in the least in the playoffs. He was atrocious two years ago, mediocre last year and badly outplayed and this year he has been OK, but once again is getting outplayed tonight. Given his cap hit and bad performance in the playoffs CBJ isn't getting their moneys worth. Crow for 1.4 million less is a million times better. |

As soon as the Caps gave Panarin a shadow he disappeared
And the switch to Holtby, Goober was terrible |

still say bobro and holtby the most over rated and over paid goalies in the league...
cbj had this series and couldn't finish in G3 and 4....
caps will be gone in R2 |

Caps played okay but Pens are going to chew them up and spit them out. |

Honestly Corey gets no credit, top 5 goalie hands down. Many others way over rated even Rinne.
Speaking of goalies Andersen with a great game tonight when he had to make saves he made some very very good ones |
