In fact this team may have been better off having Gionta, who's playing with the Boston Bruins in the playoffs right now, back in the fold for that role.

Nice write up. Pommer is coming back imo. Too good to be waived, too expensive to be moved

I think he plays the Pouliot role of being in and out of the lineup, 50-ish games and can give you 10-12 goals next year as a bottom 6'er.

0 issues with him for 1 year. Let it ride

Trade him if you can but i doubt he fetches much due to his age, declining productivity and salary. Only 1 more year to go. Too bad Bogo wasn't in the same contractual situation as Pommer.

I highly doubt he gets traded. Give him 4th line minutes and 2nd PP time and allow him to retire a Sabre at the end of the year or allow him to try his luck in free agency.

Bogo should retire. TPEGs offers 5 mil cash and a pile of blow to help us/him.

Svech/Z will defintely help with that. We all know Eichel and Mitts can skate with the best of them. Just have to get speed on the left side to compensate the lines with Okposo and Reinhart on them. Reinhart did look like he was skating better in the second half of the season though.

I'm moving toward trading Reinhart for a Dman. Baptiste can play with ror

In this case I move Reinhart for a LW. I know in recent seasons we have looked at Skinner. Maybe Reinhart for Skinner. Carolina throws a d-prospect in as well or a 2nd rounder.

Fight any and all urges to trade Reinhart for anything. He's the real deal.

Why though. Trade ROR for Haula and Hague. Center is talented but young. Can always cycle Erod, Haula and Mittelstadt.

As much as I've hollered for it, I expect there will be very few changes outside of internal replacements. I think he'll cut his losses with Beaulieu, Pouliot etc and move on from at least one of girgs/larsson.
