We need SPEED !!!
- gerbe75pts

We also need goals

There is more to a team than just speed

Jack needs speed to play with for sure

ROR with Reinhart is fine if they keep those guys

I think you're underestimating the skill of that unit, other than Eichel. That was the #1 pp unit in the league a year ago. I don't think you're plugging Wilson in for ROR and getting 60p, or plugging girgs in for Okposo and getting 40+
- jcragcrumple

No, but there is a middle ground to those two extremes.

Pray for Svechnikov or Zadina

Expecting to draft 2nd and 3rd is the typical Buffalo mentality

They have a 50% chance of drafting 4th lol

God these lottery odds blow

Sure. I'm not against moving them, but it should be done for the right deal that makes this team better now. Trading ror for a late first and a second does nothing for me

It was 20th last season, so the truth is probably somewhere in between.

It wouldn't be Wilson or Girgs, it would be Mittelstadt. If you swapped Pommiville for Okposo last season, do you really doubt he puts up 10 more points?

I don't think they would do it for that.

I think ROR is regarded enough around the league to fetch a good return

All the NHL had to was make a rule that you cant win the lottery twice in a 4 year period

I asked you before, but you never answered, does every player need to be fast?

Pominville played a good amount of time with Eichel and it wasn't great. I think Pominville had the best season that could reasonably expected. What he produced is the most he can do imo.

Do you like them together long term? I think the reason they keep shuffling lines is because they just can't find the mix they want. If it was Jack and Sam, it would have stuck by now. I think Jack needs a goal scorer with a great shot and a solid defensive player to compensate. Sam is neither. I think Sam fits nicely with RoR and that they'll keep them together, if they're both back.
- Lunaion

but that won't work because they're both slow...right?

The NHL is heading into that direction can't you see the the evolution that is occurring ?

Those teams like the LA Kings back in the day are fizzling case and point us we tried building our team like the LA Kings

that wasn't the question...does every player need to be fast?...that was the question...

i'm fully aware of the kings, but one of the main reasons they're fizzling vs. vgk is named marc andre fleury

I would like our team to be a core of fast , above average skaters
Slow skaters like ROR and Sam , Kyle etc one of the 3 has got to go this game is getting built in speed and those guys will get lost in the pack imo

Let’s look at Pittsburgh can you name me one player that’s slow ?
I only see one

What about the Lightning ?

Leafs ?

NJ?

Just name me the people on those teams that are the slow types

Not enough experience teams like that will learn it’s not a walk in the park .

And Tampa Bay is a fast team also

Boston is Basically the spurs of the NHL you just can’t count them out with how much playoff experience they have had
