Crazy to me that Fasching is on the 4th line......In Rochester
- sbroads24

One thing I noticed is the lack of center depth there, meaning players that could actually be NHL centers.

We have Asplund coming but other than that if GMJB really wants Rochester to be successful every season he is going to have to start drafting some guys to play center.

Not saying this is his fault or anything just a casual observation.

Is it?

Or maybe it's because this organization finally has a (frank)ing clue and is slotting players into their proper positions and where they will be expected to play in the NHL cough Larsson cough

central scouting has moved Tkachuk ahead of Zadina.

Guess his bad start really turned around. Wahlstrom dropped. I suspect that's due to the inconsistent play.

Seems like a byproduct of their top centers skipping the AHL. Center depth is the only strength the organization really has right now, it just happens to skip Rochester.

Little context here. These are all NCAA signees to finish the season with their clubs. Middlingstats already drives possession for his level of opposing competition.

I've always been saying, why the (frank) doesn't CJ have a job with central scouting?!

They're all (frank)ing morons. I keep telling them. They laugh. But they'll see. They'll see.

I've met Okposo twice and I said the same thing about Kane and I got blasted for it. I was told " just because he's a great player and talked to my son off the ice doesn't mean anything."

We need to make the playoffs and some damn day win a cup, players being nice doesn't matter anymore.

Agreed.

Casey being in Buffalo and Jack obviously

Reinhart is better suited on the wing.

ERod was the one of the ferw "development guys" to make it through Rochester

I understand we get sucked up with a guy being nice etc but if he can't cut you have to let that player go

I think we're ok with center depth right now. With Pu, Asplund and Malone. I'm not sure (likely not) any of those guys will be ready for full time duty to start the season, but we've got a franchise #1, an overpaid #2 for now and a long term #3 -> #2. So if any of the Rochester guys can develop into a real solid number 3 in the next couple years, we're in great shape. If Malone can develop into a real sturdy 4C, that'd be great for us as well.

Other college prospects for their respective clubs. So they came in under the same circumstances as CM. They vary in age though.
